Melvin Price Locks & Dam - Main Lock
Upper Mississippi River Mile 200.5
1.
The Melvin Price Main Lock will be closed for 90 days, from 1 January through 31 March 2023. The closure isrequired for Phase 1 of the Upstream Liftgate Replacement construction contract. Piers overlooking the upstreamliftgate will be modified, to include all associated structural, geotechnical, mechanical, and electrical work, inpreparation for the new upstream liftgates.

The Auxiliary Lock will remain and available for transit.
